CMS (fomerly HCFA) has finally eased up the qualifying guidelines for patient's needing CPAP therapy to treat OSA.
According to the October 30, 2001, Decision Memo, CPAP will be covered under Medicare in adult patients with OSA if either of the following criteria is met:
